It’s Good Friday, a time for fasting and penance. So for those practicing, this is a day of rewards and remembrance*.

For those not practicing, this is a day to give Installous a break. Seriously, their servers will continue to crash and they will continue to require more “donations.”

AppStore Limited Time Freebies (4/8/09)

Developers are always offering promotional downloads or in most cases redemptive ones.

If an app is complained about enough, a developer will offer it for free until their next update and promise to fix it. If an app is new to the market, the developer promotes it through a free limited time download so it can create buzz. It’s a never ending cycle that benefits some consumers and screws others.

So take part and download these free apps with a clear conscience.
