The release of Firmware 2.2 enabled emoticons (emoji) exclusively for iPhones running on a Japanese network. Thankfully, all other iPhone users did not have to wait long for Erica Sadun to release a solution.

Freemoji is available on Cydia as a free download and will work on any jailbroken iPhone running firmware 2.2.X and up.
