CyDelete: Gives Cydia an AppStore Facelift

Dustin Howett releases CyDelete, a Cydia add-on that streamlines the removal process of third party apps on your iPhone.

PineApple iPhone

Removing an application from Cydia use to be a 6-part process.
1. Open Cydia
2. Go to Manage
3. Find your App
4. Click Modify
5. Click Remove
6. Click Confirm

CyDelete gives Cydia the form and function of AppStore removal.
1. Hold finger on any icon
2. Wait for icons to wiggle
3. Click the “x” that appears by the app
4. Confirm delete

PineApple iPhone

This is another giant step by Cydia and its contributors to enhance the user experience on jailbroken iPhones.

CyDelete is available for download on Cydia and is highly recommended for all users.

 
 

*If you SSH’d a third-party app, the only way to remove it would be to SSH back into your iPhone and delete it.
